Privacy policy

In short: the game doesn’t collect, share or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and your progress stays on your iPhone.

This policy explains how Stellar Ascent (called Subida Estelar in Portuguese), an iPhone game developed by Gabriela Sillis, handles your information.

Data the game collects

None. Stellar Ascent works entirely offline: it doesn’t connect to the internet and doesn’t ask for access to your contacts, photos, location, camera, microphone or any other permission.

What stays on your iPhone

To save your progress, the game stores a few things on your device: your best altitude, your coins, the ships you own and the one you have equipped, and settings such as sound and vibration. This information never leaves your iPhone through the game, and I have no access to it. Deleting the game erases it.

It may be included in your iCloud or computer backups, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.

Tracking and advertising

The game doesn’t track you across other apps or websites, doesn’t use your device’s advertising identifier and doesn’t show ads.

Information from Apple

Apple shows me aggregated download and sales numbers in App Store Connect. If you’ve turned on Share With App Developers (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may also share crash reports and app usage statistics with me. None of this identifies you individually, and it’s covered by Apple’s privacy policy. I use it only to fix problems and improve the game.

When you contact me

If you email support, I receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. I use it only to reply to you, never share it, and delete it if you ask.

This website

This site is hosted by Cloudflare. The site itself uses no cookies, analytics, or third-party scripts or fonts. Like any hosting service, Cloudflare processes visitors’ IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Children

Stellar Ascent is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.

Your rights

Laws such as Brazil’s LGPD and the European Union’s GDPR give you the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. The only personal data I might hold is an email you sent me. Write to the address below and I’ll send you a copy or delete it.

Changes to this policy

If a future version adds anything that handles personal data, such as advertising, this policy will be updated before that version is released and the date at the top will change. The game’s privacy details on the App Store will be updated at the same time.
